Terms of Service
Last updated 27 September 2026
These terms apply to the Jimnet Pitboard app, website, connected hardware services and related race-data features. By using the service, you agree to these terms.
Your account
Provide accurate information, keep your sign-in details secure and use only accounts and Pitboard hardware you are authorised to access. You are responsible for actions taken through your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
Safe and acceptable use
Pitboard supports motorsport communication but does not replace the driver’s judgement, official race control, circuit rules or safety instructions. Configure or test hardware only when it is safe to do so. Do not misuse the service, interfere with other users, attempt unauthorised access, or use it unlawfully.
Race data and third-party services
Timing data, flags, mobile networks and third-party websites may be delayed, incomplete or unavailable. Always follow official signals and instructions. Third-party timing sites and services have their own terms and are not controlled by Jimnet.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the service reliable, but uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed. We may make security, compatibility and operational changes, suspend unsafe or abusive access, or retire features with reasonable notice where practical.
Accounts and termination
You may stop using the service and permanently delete your account in the app. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, threatens the service or must be restricted by law. Provisions intended to survive termination, including intellectual-property and liability provisions, continue to apply.
Intellectual property and liability
Jimnet and its licensors retain rights in the app, website, firmware, branding and service. To the extent permitted by law, Jimnet is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss caused by third-party timing or network services, or use contrary to safety instructions. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or your mandatory consumer rights.
Law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory rights you have where you live. Questions can be sent to support@jimnet.co.uk.
